Call first. It saves a wasted trip, and it is the only way to find out what the office needs from you today.
- Confirm the vehicle is actually hereMore than one yard operates on this coast. Give the plate, the make and model, and roughly where and when it was picked up.
- Ask what to bringOwnership paperwork and photo identification are the usual starting point. Ask exactly which documents the office wants so you only make the trip once.
- Ask about the release hoursYard access hours are not published here because we could not verify them. The office can tell you when someone will be there to release a vehicle.
- Ask for the total, in full, before you set offAsk what is owed as of today, whether anything accrues daily, and when the next day is charged. Get the figure on the phone.
- Ask what forms of payment are takenSettle this before you arrive rather than at the gate.
- Ask about personal propertyIf you need something out of the vehicle rather than the vehicle itself, say so. It is usually a different conversation.
A storage yard is a fenced lot. Nothing more complicated than that.
About fees.
- No figures here This site publishes no prices, no daily rates and no fee schedule of any kind. We were not given any, and inventing them would be worse than saying nothing. Ask the office and write the answer down.
- Ask early Storage charges in this trade are commonly worked out per day. The sooner you call, the fewer days there are to discuss. That is true at any yard, not just this one.
- Ask for it in writing An itemized total, showing the tow separately from any storage, is a reasonable thing to ask for and a reasonable thing to receive.
- If you disagree Raise it with the office first. Mississippi consumers can also take a complaint to the Mississippi Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, which is a matter of public record rather than an opinion about this business.
